Support to Life ( STL )“Individual Protection” is delivered through hubs located at 8 different cities in Turkey
Part of the humanitarian aid agency Support to Life’s Refugee Programme, the “Individual Protection” activities are delivered through 9 hubs located at 8 different cities in Turkey, to people with temporary protection status. Funded by The European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations the activites helps and assists the refugees to access legal state provided services including health, education, registration as well as helding awareness raising sessions. In 2017, Support to Life Houses delivered “Individual Protection” for 9 thousand refugees, while 11 thousand individuals has been reached with almost 900 awareness raising sessions.
Conducting the “Refugee Programme” activites since 2012, Support to Life expanded it’s Individual Protection activites with the opening of 5 new STL Houses in Kayseri, Mersin, Adana, Mardin Kızıltepe and Şanlıurfa Akçakale in addition to Batman, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Zonguldak and İstanbul. In 2017, Support to Life - Individual Protection activites funded by The European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations delivered assistance, consultancy and support through cooperation with local authorities to almost 12 thousand refugees located İstanbul, Adana, Mersin, Mardin, Diyarbakır and Kayseri.
